If things go as planned, Saifeena could soon have dinner with the Oscar winning actress Julia Roberts who is presently shooting for her new film Eat, Pray, Love at Pataudi which is the royal seat of Saif’s family.
Reports say Julia has already met Saif’s mom Sharmila Tagore in Patuadi on the outskirts of Delhi and expressed her desire to meet her son Saif and his girlfriend Kareena after learning that Bebo would be playing her part in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood hit Stepmom starring Roberts and Susan Sarandon.
In fact, Kareena herself is very keen to meet Julia in the coming days. Bebo is presently busy shooting a song with Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and Madhavan for 3 Idiots in Mumbai. The buzz is that she has asked to be excused from the shooting for a day so that she could fly to Pataudi for the planned dinner with Julia Roberts.
Meeting the actress would certainly help Kareena in preparing for her role in the Hindi ‘Stepmom’ which is being produced by Karan Johar.
The fact that Roberts is staying and shooting in Pataudi might get Bebo her dream dinner date with the Hollywood beauty.

I loved Shahid Kapoor: Kareena Kapoor

The hot Saifeena pair went to watch "Kaminey" and Kareena informed that she loved the movie 'thoroughly' and that Vishal was very good and even appreciated other actors and story, she told the movie to be vibrant and on being asked how was Shahid, she specially mentioned him to be loved.
The actress has never talked openly about her relationship with Shahid neither clarified the reasons of breakup but they both (Shahid and Kareena) have never backed out from praising their ex's work.

Shahid Kapoor praises Saif Ali Khan
If Saif Ali Khan put a step forward to bury the hatchet between them Shahid Kapoor is not to be left behind. In a recent interview the Kaminey actor said that he had loved Saif's performance in Love Aaj Kal. Recently Saif had praised Shahid Kapoor and called him an immensely talented actor. This comes nearly two years after Kareena Kapoor dumped Shahid and hooked up with Saif.
Asked to compare between Vishal Bhardwaj Omkara and Kaminey, Shahid candidly said Omkara was phenomenal movie where as Kaminey was Vishal's first commercial venture. Shahid also added that Saif was brilliant with his performance in Omkara. Well seems like one major Cold War in Bollywood is finally coming to an end.

Saif Ali Khan wants to patch-up with Shahid Kapur!

He is no longer anxious about 'rival' film Kaminey releasing soon. "My film has already worked. I don't want to sound false, but now I realise that in the past I might have made an irresponsible comment of having been offered a role in Kaminey. But the fact is, I was not. Vishal (Bhardwaj) had just mentioned the film to me. I don't want it to be a personal battle any longer. We are all not friends (him, Vishal and Shahid Kapoor, hero of Kaminey) for obvious reasons but I do think Vishal is a fantastic director. I have only heard good things about Shahid, from others and also from Kareena. He is a strong boy. I have learnt early in life that one cannot benefit from someone else's failure."
Saif candidly admits that he has gone through some of the worst phases of insecurity but those are a thing of the past. "When Kunal Kapoor or any other director I have worked with didn't repeat me, there was a sense of insecurity. In the 18 years of my career, I have gone through angst. But now it doesn't matter. Like when Siddharth (Anand) opted for Ranbir Kapoor in his next film, I no longer felt bad, probably because I was successful doing my own production. I had the confidence to wish him best," he says.
There is one more major transformation in Saif's life. "I've become more Buddhist in my approach to my career. I realise that if I am doing well now, it's only a part of the cycle. This is transitory."
And Saif nurses a secret dream: "I want to lead the life my father (Mansoor Ai Khan Pataudi) does. He has been top of his game but he knew when to walk away and how much of it to take seriously. I absolutely adore his approach towards life. Not many know that my father has been the strongest influence on me. He is a tiger and it has always been his rules that he lived by."

It's unfair to compare Deepika with Kareena, says Saif
Actor Saif Ali Khan debut as a producer Love Aaj Kal hit the screen last Friday (July 31). Though movie has earned mixed reviews from viewers, it has definitely made a mark at the box office.
CNN-IBN's Rohit Khilnani talks to Saif about the movie and his future plans. Here is an excerpt from the interview -
Rohit Khilnani: You must have learnt so many things after producing Love Aaj Kal , is there something you feel you could have done in a different way?
Saif Ali Khan: There are two major things that I have learnt. First one is the importance of budgeting and the second thing is choosing the right director to work with.
Rohit Khilnani: When I am talking to other actors they are telling me that Saif is choosing his directors very carefully and smartly.
Saif Ali Khan: I think there aren’t so many directors to work with. Sriram Raghavan is the next director I am excited to work with next and Imtiaz was a fantastic experience.
Rohit Khilnani: I was trying for an interview with your mother (Sharmila Tagore) the other day but she said she is going to watch Love Aaj Kal. Tell us what did she say?
Saif Ali Khan: She is liking my work of late. For the last two years she has been very supportive and she was happy watching Love Aaj Kal.
Rohit Khilnani: Professionally, Deepika has worked wonders in the film but personally any point did you feel that Kareena could have been in the film and this scene she would have done a great job?
Saif Ali Khan: I think it is unfair to compare like this. Deepika is new and she has done remarkably well in the film. Kareena is on another level as an actor so there are many things she would have done differently.

Saifeena in no rush for shaadi!
Kareena Kapoor has been spending a lot of quality time with Saif Ali Khan. “I’ve been living in and out of suitcases. It’s so hectic,” she says.
Bebo was with Saif in Jaipur for a day and a half, then Delhi where he attended the premiere with his heroine, but she stayed back in the hotel room. Her logic is simple: She didn’t want to steal Saifu’s thunder.
Kareena also spent a day with Saif's parents the Nawab of Pataudi, Mansoor Ali Khan and his mother Sharmila Tagore. However, both Saif and Kareena are dead against this constant insinuation that the only thing discussed at such family interactions is their marriage. While it is deeply acknowledged that Saifina will eventually tie the knot, both are not in favour of shaadi talk all the time.
“I got married the first time around when I was 21,” says Saif adding, “because everyone around felt it was so cool for me to be married. This time around neither Bebo nor I are going to rush into anything. We’re together, and that’s blissful enough.” Well the marriage pundits had better learn to hold their horses...

Saifeena ready for Marriage?
Bollywood's most talked about hot couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are in no rush to get married.
Recently the couple spent some quality time with Saif's parents. But according to the duo all this doesn't mean that marriage is the only thing their families constantly discuss. Infact the couple is tired of people insinuating that they are tying the knot soon.
Fans of Saifina obviously can't wait to see them get married. But both Bebo and Chote Nawab rubbish the rumours of their wedding in the near future.

Saif w'd have kissed SRK if were casted in Dostana
Saif Ali Khan has reportedly said that he would have kissed Shah Rukh Khan if both of them were casted for Dostana. In an interview by Rajeev Masand for NDTV Saif said that Dostana was enjoyable.
On the question if kissing scenes are hard to film, Saif said, "Saif Ali Khan: I think that's a good question. See if there is a kiss - there is nothing much to do. I think it is much more dramatic when you don't kiss. I don't think there is a kiss in Race. It's like almost a kiss. So you can touch here and there or kiss in different places and you are pretending. I don't think it is like in America where you have proper full on kissing and tongues and bodies touching - and I don't even like saying tongues on TV. It sounds so...I think we watch films with our parents and children and somewhere as Indians we cringe a little. That cringe factor needs to be avoided. Like for example in Ek Haseena Thi, working with Sriram Raghavan was good because it was a scene where the girl gets up from the bed wrapped in a sheet and you see her legs and the guy looks ripped and sits up in bed and lights a smoke - in the good days when you were allowed to smoke - it's great and suggestive and beautiful."

Review: Love Aaj Kal
Love Aaj Kal opens with a break-up - Saif Ali Khan & Deepika Padukone are parting ways with utmost cordiality, deciding indeed to have a break-up party to celebrate their rediscovered singledom. The girl leaves, the boy stays back and is then coerced by Rishi Kapoor, a genial London cafe owner, to say goodbye at the airport. Rishi drives Saif there and thrusts a bouquet into his hands, and Deepika’s delighted as she leaves. Kapoor then, on Saif’s insistence, starts telling him his own love story, and the film then narrates both romances side by side.
Imtiaz uses a very interesting device by casting Saif himself in the Kapoor flashbacks: Kapoor tells Khan how the boy reminds him of his youth, and so the Sikh Saif isn’t Kapoor as he used to look, but Kapoor as both he and Saif can visualise him as the tale is narrated. It’s a clever move even though Saif struggles rather laughably with his Punjabi early on in the film, and it doesn’t help how the narrative inevitably flips back and forth between that and the overslanged Lay’s-salesman Saif of today. A good move overall, though.
Imtiaz is one of the most promising filmmakers in the country today but his songs abruptly interrupted the proceedings which he earlier managed to weave in seamlessly into his narratives. The dialogues are still his biggest strength, but here the conversation is so peppered with Hinglish in an obvious attempt to connect with the kids that it doesn’t wash - Saying ‘aapka angle kya hai?’ for ‘what’s your angle?’ just doesn’t work, sorry.
Love Aaj Kal is a harmless, watchable film — sad, because it could have been truly special. It has its moments in the first half, while the second half is an over-melodramatic drag. Or have I missed the point, and is Imtiaz making an incisive comment on the nature of Bollywood masala, saying be it today or yesterday, our romances stay as cheesy as they are breezy?

Saif: I play a more real sardar than Akshay Kumar did
Saif Ali Khan believes in love... period! Be it Aaj or Kal... our Nawab has never failed to fall in love. In a candid chat with Renuka Vyavahare , actor Saif Ali Khan confesses to have matured and evolved over the years when it comes to love in real life clarifying, “It’s unfair to say too much love has been happening in his life!
Love Aaj Kal comes at a time when too much love has been happening in your real life.
(Smiles) It’s unfair to say that there’s too much love happening in my life. You guys (media) is largely responsible for what has been going on in my life.
Love Aaj Kal is your home production, Kareena’s your girlfriend and a seasoned star. Wouldn’t Kareena been a safer bet instead of Deepika?
None of my directors listen to me (laughs). Deepika is a new face. She is very Indian and a mature actor. Her personality grounds my personality in a way what Rani Mukherjee does to me. We are of different types, Deepika is earthy while I am more western and this contrast makes us interesting onscreen.
Newcomer Harleen has been ignored in the promotions, is it a deliberate move?
Main focus of the film is Deepika and I. Harleen plays an important character but it would be misleading to say she plays the lead too.
You play a Sikh in Love Aaj Kal like what Akshay and Salman did recently.
Sardarjis would be proud by my accurate and honourable representation of my Sikh character. I had a dialogue coach who helped me on my Punjabi accent. I haven’t seen Salman but Akshay in Singh Is King was more glamorous and cool; he looked stagy and larger than life while I play the more real, down to earth Sardar. If my Langda Tyagi was genuine because of my diction, this one should be liked too. My beard, trousers everything looks real.
Has the concept of love changed over the years for you in real life too?
I am not that old but may be I’ll write a book on it. I feel you live and learn and you evolve.
There are lot of kisses in Love Aaj Kal.
They are not really intimate scenes as I feel as Indians they make us a bit uncomfortable.
Has Kareena seen Love Aaj Kal?
Yes she has and she liked it.
People compare you to Brangelina.
I am Saif Ali Khan of the Bombay film industry and that sounds fine.
As a producer how has the experience been?
I’ve been a big fan of secret societies. I had thought of Lucifer before but then we settled for Illuminati as my production house’s name. I ensured that people get paid on time and get good food as a producer.

Saif-Kareena on a kissing spree
Can you name the most-kissed couple in Bollywood? No prizes for guessing! Lovebirds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are on a kissing spree of late, and that too with other actors.
Yes, Saif-Kareena have kissed 15 times in just two films. Just on the heels of Kareena kissing Akshay Kumar 10 times in their recently released film Kambakkht Ishq, Saif is said to have kissed Deepika Padukone five times in their film Love Aaj Kal which is set for release tomorrow.
Kareena defended her kisses, saying that the script demanded it. Nobody complaint following the good opening the film witnessed. Now, the question is whether Saif's kisses will pull in the crowds to the theatres.
You don't have to wait for too long for the final verdict will be out tomorrow when it hits the theatres.

Saifeena to be Brangelina?
Abhishek and Aishwarya may hold the majority of votes when it comes to the hottest married couple in Bollywood, but it is Saif and Kareena who occupy the minds of all when it comes to the hottest unmarried couple.
Saif and Kareena have been dating for two years, and now that times are changing, they are more and more vocal about their relationship.
Saif and Kareena, or Saifeena as some call them can be compared to Hollywood's hottest couple Brad and Angelina not just because 'saifeena' rhymes with 'brangelina' or because they are the 'it' couples of filmdom, but for another, more literal reason.

Saif & Imtiaz robbed off
In a rare incident that happened in Ahmedabad yesterday with Saif Ali Khan & Imtiaz Ali, the duo were robbed of their belongings. Saif was there to promote his upcoming movie Love Aaj Kal with director Imtiaz Ali when they were pick-pocketed amidst a huge crowd gathering.. Saif was robbed of his expensive pair of Dolce & Gabanna glares while Imtiaz lost his wallet that contained his credit cards & driving license. Saif consoled himself by thinking a crazy fan might have taken it to keep as a memento but Imtiaz Ali was worried about losing important documents.

Saif-Bebo-Shahid drama on big screen!
An MMS showing Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor locking lips three years ago made headlines for months. But what happened afterwards? How exactly did Bebo become Saif’s girl and why did she snub his sister Soha in public? Coming soon to a theatre near you is The Secret life of Karina (that’s how the filmmaker spells it to avoid legal hassles with the actress), a B-grade film that claims to have answers to all these questions.
The film has an alleged budget of Rs 20 crores and is being produced by Spectra Multimedia Films, a production house known for making regional movies. “The film is inspired by the life of Shahid Kapur, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan,” explains Flynn Remedios, Spectra’s executive producer. “The film will be based mostly on media reports. It’ll show the underbelly of Bollywood. We are not cooking up anything. These stories were published. We will be showing the whole incident of the Shahid-Kareena smooch and even the one when Kareena snubbed Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan at an event,” he says.
Believe it or not, the pot boiler will also draw some instances from the infamous real life of Bollywood’s bad boy Salman Khan. The lead protagonist in the movie, cleverly named Saifee, is supposedly a mixture of Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s personalities.
Remedios says, “Saifee’s character will exhibit traces of Salman’s ‘violent’ love stories with his ex girlfriends, notably Somi Ali and Aishwarya Rai.”
He explains that the film is set to go on the floors next month as the star cast is yet to be finalised.
Shradha Sharma, the actress initially chosen to play the lead role of Karina, has since declined the offer. “I wasn’t comfortable playing this character as I do not want to offend Kareena Kapoor. There was a scene in which Shaheed [the screen name for the actor playing Shahid Kapur’s role] cuts his wrists for the actress and I found all this very uncomfortable,” says Sharma.
When asked to react, Salman’s spokesperson Alok Mathur said that if the production house is openly claiming that the character is that of Salman, “they will get into real trouble”.
“They are just out to get publicity. They can’t get the real Salman, toh Salman ke naam ka faayda uthaaenge. Such films always flop,” said Mathur.
Responding to the matter, Shahid Kapur’s spokesperson said, “Shahid doesn’t know about such a film and is not going to bother. It is a B-grade film and these people are clearly doing it for publicity.”
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were not available for comment.

Now Saifeena will fight
Yes, your heard it right, Saifeena will fight between themselves and take it to the next level but in reel life. Bebo is all set fight with Saif in their next movie Agent Vinod. Bebo has never worked in an action movie before and was thrilled to sport this action role in Agent Vinod.
Bebo, who was signed by Saif’s home production Illuminati Films for Agent Vinod, will have to undergo some rigorous training before shooting for the fight sequences. Bebo plays an under cover agent from some other country; the character will have shades of Mala Sinha’s role in Aankhen and Rehana Sultan in 1977 film Agent Vinod. However the director of the film Sriram Raghavan denies this.
After taking the Brangelina way in calling themselves Saifeena, it would be great to see our own versions of Mr & Mrs Smith.

Saifeena being compared with Brangelina
Saifeena, the hot couple of India who have been regarded as the style icon for the youth, are being compared to Brangelina for many reasons. Saifeena have been dating each other for around two years now and currently living in a Mumbai apartment in a Live In Relationship. When it comes to the hottest couple in India, people recall AbhiAish, the jodi of Abhishek Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai, but when it comes to the hottest unmarried jodi - it's Saifeena. These days they have become more vocal about their relationship and marriage plans seem to be on the way.
Not only does Saifeena of Bollywood rhyme with Brangelina of Hollywood but they are also being seen as the 'It' couple in India, particularly the youth.

Unique style of promoting
Bebo took an unique style of promoting the upcoming movie of his live-in partner Saif Ali Khan while promoting her own movie Kambakkht Ishq. Bebo said that, "Kambakkht Ishq is an unique movie which is going to rock Aaj & Kal". Saif is starring with Deepika Padukone in the movie Love Aaj Kal which is going to release on July 31. The promotion of Love Aaj Kal had an adverse effect on Kambakkht Ishq that the movie is getting mixed reviews.

Bebo loves Saif more than IIFA

The buzz is that Kareena wanted her performance to mark the starting or the end of the function. But the organizers had no such plan. The grand finale performance was already booked for the Bachchans, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya respectively.
Bebo decided to accompany Saif despite the fact that she was getting paid a whopping amount for IIFA performance. Not only was she learning belly dancing under Shiamak Davar, but had also finalized her dress for the performance. She was to dance to her song Marjani from ‘Billu’. Saif too wanted to use the platform of IIFA to promote ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and had thought of an international press meet but later dropped the idea.
Saif and Kareena are not the only ones who have opted out of IIFA. Shahrukh Khan has been giving his royal snub to IIFA for the last many years. Farah Khan also won’t attend the awards night as she’s choreographing a song for SRK in the US. And now, even Akshay Kumar has decided to miss this year’s IIFA as he’s taking his son on a holiday.
